Hmm. Okay. Why is there a big, empty, yellow wall on my blog?
I’m happy to announce that I will be showing some of my quilts at the Shirlington Library in Arlington, VA — home of this giant yellow wall. I’m having fun deciding what quilts to hang in this eighteen foot wide space, but I’ll have to decide soon. The exhibit starts in February and runs through March. I’ll post a picture once the exhibit is hung. If you’re local, please stop by the library and then let me know what you think. Thanks!
I wish I were local so I could stop by this exhibit! This is my first visit to your website in, I’m ashamed to admit, at least 6 months. I’m blown away by HOW MUCH YOU ARE DOING – quilting, exhibiting, educating, writing, creating…truly amazing. Thanks for sharing your work (achievements and creative process) with those of us who have a mere 24 hours in our days. You never cease to inspire and amaze me, while reminding me how “time flies”.
In the interest of full disclosure to anyone reading these comments, Karen is my niece and, apparently, my biggest fan. She is also the inventor of the super-secret 36-hour day, which, I believe, is powered by Starbucks. I aspire to be as productive as she is. There it is; you have it in writing.
